About Me

Roseau is more than the city I call home. It is the heart of our nation; a place rich in history, culture and untapped potential. I believe our capital can once again become a city that creates opportunity, invests in its people and inspires national pride.

I have always been fascinated by the relationship between people and the places they live, and by the power of planning to shape environments that bring out the best in both. That passion led me to become an Urban and Regional Planner, professionally trained at McGill University and York University in Canada.

I have had the privilege of serving Dominica as Physical Planner, Chief Physical Planner, and Chairman of the Physical Planning Authority. These experiences deepened my belief that good planning is about far more than buildings and roads. It is about creating spaces and places that are functional, sustainable, people-centred, and responsive to the needs and aspirations of the communities they serve.

My commitment to building stronger communities has extended beyond my professional career. I initiated the formation of the Society for Historic Preservation and Enhancement (SHAPE), reflecting my passion for protecting Dominica’s heritage and strengthening community pride. I was also a founding member of Pioneer Preparatory School, an experience that reinforced my belief in the transformative power of education and investing in our children.

My decision to seek public office was born not out of politics, but from a deep conviction that the people of Roseau and Dominica deserve better. I see a capital with remarkable heritage, resilient people and enormous economic potential. I also see the everyday challenges that affect our quality of life, from traffic congestion and deteriorating public spaces to limited opportunities for our young people, inadequate recreational facilities, infrastructure that no longer meets the needs of a modern capital, and so much more.

As your representative, I will provide action-oriented leadership grounded in my training and experience, guided by integrity, and focused on delivering real results for the people of Roseau.

I believe the best leadership begins with listening. That is why I remain committed to walking our communities, engaging residents, consulting stakeholders, and working together to find practical, lasting solutions to the issues that matter most.

Together, we can move Roseau Central forward.
